God Be With You
by Jeremiah E. Rankin
God be with you till we meet again; By His counsels guide, uphold you,
With His sheep securely fold you; God be with you till we meet again.
God be with you till we meet again; 'Neath His wings protecting hide you,
Daily manna still provide you; God be with you till we meet again.
God be with you till we meet again; When life's perils thick confound you,
Put His arms unfailing round you; God be with you till we meet again.
God be with you till we meet again; Keep love's banner floating o'er you,
Smite death's threat'ning wave before you; God be with you till we meet again.
Chorus
Till we meet, till we meet, Till we meet a Jesus' feet;
Till we meet, till we meet, God be with you till we meet again.

I am so thankful that we were able to come together on the Phone this Morning, it was such a Blessing to hear so many of My Church Family. Thank You Pastor Manley and Pastor Wolf for finding ways to bring us together.

The Unveiled Christ
Written by Noah Benjamin Herrell 1916
Once our blessed Christ of beauty
Was veiled off from human view;
But through suffering, death and sorrow
He has rent the veil in two,
Now He is with God the Father,
Interceding there for you;
For He is the mighty conqueror
Since He rent the veil in two
Holy angels bow before Him,
Men of earth give praises due;
For He is the well-beloved
Since He rent the veil in two.
Through out time and endless ages,
Heights and depths of love so true;
He alone can be the giver
Since He veil in two.
Chorus
O behold the Man of Sorrows,
O behold Him in plan view;
Lo! He is the mighty conqueror,
Since he rent the veil in two;
Lo! He is the mighty conqueror,
Since he rent the veil in two

I rediscovered this old song only today. It has been years since I last came across this jewel, but its sparkle had never dimmed. I share with you because I think it fits today as well as could be as though it were written by Robert Lowery only last night for today instead of the 1860s when he put it on paper.
My life flows on in endless song;
above earth’s lamentation,
I catch the sweet, though far off hymn
that hails a new creation.
No storm can shake my inmost calm
while to that Rock I’m clinging.
Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth,
how can I keep from singing?
Through all the tumult and the strife,
I hear that music ringing.
It finds an echo in my soul.
How can I keep from singing?
No storm can shake my inmost calm
while to that Rock I’m clinging.
Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth,
how can I keep from singing?
What though my joys and comforts die?
I know my Savior liveth.
What though the darkness gather round?
Songs in the night He giveth.
No storm can shake my inmost calm
while to that Rock I’m clinging.
Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth,
how can I keep from singing?
The peace of Christ makes fresh my heart,
a fountain ever springing!
All things are mine since I am His!
How can I keep from singing?
No storm can shake my inmost calm
while to that Rock I’m clinging.
Since Christ is Lord of heaven and earth,
how can I keep from singing?

I received request to give more poems from Annie Johnson Flint. This is a well known poem, but it fits the circumstances of today very well.
WHAT GOD HATH PROMISED
God hath not promised skies always blue,
Flower-strewn pathways all our lives through;
God hath not promised sun without rain,
Joy without sorrow, peace without pain.
God hath not promised we shall not know
Toil and temptation, trouble and woe;
He hath not told us we shall not bear
many a burden, many a care.
God hath not promised smooth roads and wide,
Swift, easy travel, needing no guide;
Never a mountain rocky and steep,
Never a river turbid and deep,
But God hath promised strength for the day,
Rest for the labor, light for the way,
Grace for the trials, help from above,
Unfailing sympathy, undying love.

WHAT A FRIEND WE HAVE IN JESUS
The words of this gospel hymn were
in my thoughts all Sunday night, as I slept and awakened.
What a Friend we have in Jesus,
all our sins and griefs to bare,
What a privilege to carry every thing to God in prayer.
Oh, what Peace we often forfeit,
Oh what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer.
Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should Never be discouraged
Take it to The Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so Faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness
Take it to The Lord in prayer.
What an encouragement, to know
“We have a Friend In JESUS.
Thank You Jesus for being my
Savior and Friend. Bro. Ken(04/06/2020)
While we can't be together it's a Blessing to Me to be able to hear Pastor Wolfs Sermons on Sunday Mornings on the web site. I listen at
10:00 and visualize that we are all together listening at the same time.
It was a extra Blessing last Sunday to read messages from Mark Kyle and a Poem from Pastor Manley in the Gathering Room. Then in the songs to see and hear Parker play the Piano and hear all of us sing really made Me feel like we were together. Since no one could hear Me I sang along.
I Love and miss You all

Hello church family from the Armstrongs,
We are thankful, that in God's Providence, that the changes to our website that have allowed the sermons to be there, was already in the works before this time of very unexpected need. We miss the fellowship with everyone for sure!
Even before the governor's order for those of us who are over 65 came out a couple of weeks ago, Amanda said "like one of my friends told her parents' you are grounded' for a while". Since all four of us have heath issues (3 diabetics and me with asthma issues), we have been staying home.
Everyone, thankfully is in good health at the present time. Kaye is still having problems with occasional headaches and her back is "off" but she is managing.
Amanda has given us good advice for keeping the virus out. Besides wiping down daily surfaces like door knobs, light switches, the microwave door, sink handles and more, she advocates wiping the incoming mail and even wiping the front page the newspaper Papaw reads. Boxes delivered remain outside and are opened with gloves and disposed of (Amanda found some gloves, surprisingly at Dollar General in the First aid section).We have sanitizer wipes in the car for the steering wheel, door knobs, shifter, etc. too in case we need to go see a doctor.
Since she is still working at PCC, and she is "out there" with exposure, she has asked us not to come into her house in case she brought the virus in unknowingly, so we visit outside and of course, by phone or text.
Amanda is teaching me how to order groceries online through a service called Shipt (shipt.com) which does deliver to even to our area. They have access to Winn Dixie, Publix, CVS, and Office Depot. The cost is 14.99/mo and worth a try so I will be sending out an order today. She also showed me how to order from Sam's and Amazon.
Since he cannot maintain the garden he loved, Papaw is enjoying the 4ft high raised beds Andy built for him to plant tomatoes in. He recently bought some new baby chicks to add to our flock...they are so cute! He also enjoys watching his bees. Two friends from the bee club came over and helped catch a swam of bees which gave him a new hive...so now he has 5 hives.
Of course, Palafox Market is closed so our business sales are on hold. However, Andy is still building horseshoe crafts and I am still finding the recent weather perfect for painting...it was the weather I was dreaming of last summer as I painted in the heat and humidity and the paint would regularly not turn out. So maybe we can get ahead enough that I won't have to paint much in those hot months..that would be great.
Meanwhile, like many of you, little projects, lacking time to do them, are getting done here too.
We know God has a purpose in allowing this terrible time in our history and I pray ,as Pastor reminded us, to be tuned in to those who are searching for answers, not knowing our Saviour is the Answer!
We appreciate the messages and the prayer requests that keep us in touch!

In I Samuel 2:1-10 Hannah gives praise to her LORD for answered prayer, for giving her a baby boy. Verses 1 and 2 says, "...My heart rejoiceth in the LORD, mine horn is exalted in the LORD: my mouth is enlarged over mine enemies; because I rejoice in thy salvation. There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God." I too, want to praise the Lord for answered prayer concerning the good news about the results of my lung biopsy. There is no cancer. As Hannah rejoiced in the LORD and in His salvation, my heart does, too. "There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God." I want to thank my church family for your continued prayers for Jan and I! May the Lord be praised!

At a time when David was afraid, he meditated on God's goodness. Psalm 27:13; Whatever trials we are facing today, or tomorrow, the Lord continues to be good! Let us meditate on His goodness!

One Day at a Time
One day at a time, with its failures and fears,
With its hurts and mistakes, with its weakness and tears,
With its portion of pain and its burden of care;
One day at a time we must meet and must bear.
One day at a time to be patient and strong,
To be calm under trial and sweet under wrong;
Then its toiling shall pass and its sorrow shall cease;
It shall darken and die, and the night shall bring peace.
One day at a time - but the day is so long,
And the heart is not brave, and the soul is not strong,
O Thou pitiful Christ, be Thou near all the way;
Give courage and patience and strength for the day.
Swift cometh His answer, so clear and so sweet;
"Yea, I will be with thee, thy troubles to meet;
I will not forget thee, nor fail thee, nor grieve;
I will not forsake thee; I never will leave."
Not yesterday's load we are called on to bear,
Nor the morrow's uncertain and shadowy care;
Why should we look forward or back with dismay?
Our needs, as our mercies, are but for the day.
One day at a time, and the day is His day;
He hath numbered its hours, though they haste or delay.
His grace is sufficient; we walk not alone;
As the day, so the strength that He giveth His own.
